Change

It's funny how things change,
When we first met, I never would have guessed we'd end up where we are.
Honestly, I look at our recent conversations and think
"Really? Is this really happening?"
It wasn't that long ago we were just random people on the internet,
and it was even more recent that we were just friends,
But lovers? Really?
I think back to when we first started talking to each other
And wonder what my reaction would have been if someone told me.
"No way, dude!
Someone on the other side of the planet
That I met online?!
What are you smoking?"
And yet here we are, totally in love with each other;
And I can't imagine anyone else I'd rather spend the rest of my life with.
